| Care and maint | Use a garden hose to chase the dirt off of the mat. Build up pressure with your thumb on the hose and then use the pressure from the water to remove the dirt. You can use a powerwasher as well. Be careful not to take out a deck chair in the process. Spot clean the rug with a mild detergent. Do not scrub with a brush as to not pull up the nap of the felt on the top layer of the mat. Use your vacuum on the floor setting as to not pull up the top of the felt. A lint roller can be used to remove pet hair from the mat. Clean stains with a cleaner that does not produce a lot of suds. It will be difficult to get all of the soap off of the mat. There are several layers inside the mat to hold it together and provide more durability. |
