Kress received his Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University. Kress is a registered landscape architect in the state of California, an emeritus member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, as well as a member of the Stonegate HOA in Davis, California and The American Legion. In his free time, Kress enjoys metal detecting, photography, collecting diecast toys, and traveling in his RV.
