VIAIR 1/2" Water Separator, Automatic Drain

The VIAIR® filter water trap is designed to remove most liquid and solid particles from your pneumatic system.  Available in 1/4 “, 3/8” or 1/2" NPT ports, with manual or automatic drain valve. The automatic drain will purge when the collected condensation reaches a certain level, whereas the manual configuration needs to be checked and drained by hand periodically. Mounting bracket with hardware included.

• APPLICATION/USES: A water trap is used between a compressor and a tank to limit the amount of water in the air. As the air enters the tank any moisture in the air will drop to the bottom of the tank and accumbulate. A water trap will remove excess water and debris from the air, allowing the rest of your system to operate worry free.
• 1/2" NPT PORTS: Tapered 1/2" ports provide a perfect seal everytime
• AUTOMATIC DRAIN: With an automatic drain there is no need to check you bowl level peridoically. Using its built in automatic design it will automatically release moisture once a certain level is reached within the bowl.
• INTERNAL FILTER/BOWL GAUGE: The high capacity, 12ml. bowl includes an easy to read gauge on the side that allows you to read moisture levels to prevent over flowing. The internal filter element for debris is rated to to filter out elements down to 5 Microns.
